Background: Early diagnosis and intervention of hearing loss in children is important for the acquisition of hearing and speech, thereby contributing to the positive development and quality of life of this child. Objective: To describe the quality of life in children who had prelingual bilateral severe to intense sensorineural hearing impairment after receiving a cochlear implant.
