Abstract:

Background: Ovarian rejuvenation is a potential therapeutic approach aimed at enhancing ovarian function and improving fertility results in women with poor ovarian reserve (POR). Aim: To compare PRP and normal saline injections impacts on (FSH-LH-AMH-E2)&AFC in POR patients. Methods: This pilot multi-center study included 20 patients with poor ovarian response (POR). Patients underwent laparoscopy, with Group A receiving an autologous PRP injection and Group B receiving a normal saline injection. Hormone levels, including FSH, LH, estradiol, and AMH, were monitored before and every month after PRP injection for a duration of 6 months. Antral follicles count was also assessed prior and following PRP treatment. Results: According to the ovulation status of Group A after PRP injection, out of the 10 participants, 3 (30%) ovulated, while 7 (70%) did not ovulate.
