Abstract:

Abstract Effect using differentiated training to develop some functional abilities and muscular strength on wrestlers lifting movements’ performance Dr. Haitham Ahmed Ibrahim Mohamed Zalat(*) Research problem: Researcher, – through wrestling sport follow-up in many competitions, noted clear weakness in wrestlers’ functional and physical abilities. This also was noticeable through their physical level during performing physical exercises and special repetitions, so the researcher found a method trying to raise wrestlers’ functional, physical and skilled levels away from boredom and monotony during training using a differentiated training method. Research Objective: Develop a suggested framework for weight and plyometric using differentiated training method to develop some of wrestlers lifting movements’ functional abilities, muscular strength and skill level. Research hypotheses: 1- Training program develops wrestlers’ functional abilities, muscular strength and skill level of the. 2- There are statistically significant differences between pre and post measurements of experimental and control groups in favour of post measurement in functional abilities tests under study. 3- There are statistically significant differences between pre and post measurements of experimental and control groups in favour of post measurement in muscular strength tests under study. 4- There are statistically significant differences between pre and post measurements of experimental and control groups in favour of post measurement in skill performance level under study. 5- There are statistically significant differences between post measurements of experimental and control groups in favour of experimental group in functional abilities, muscular strength and skill level tests under study. Research Methodology: Experimental method used with two groups design (experimental - control). Research community and Sample: The research sample selected intentionally from roman wrestlers over 20 years,. The research community consisted of (43) players in Qalioubia area registered in Egyptian Wrestling Federation (2017) records. The sample included 30 wrestlers, 20 wrestlers for main study (10 experimental -10 control) and 10 wrestlers as ample for pilot study.. Data collection tools and methods: * Functional abilities measurements * Suggested training program. * Muscular strength tests. * Skill performance of some wrestling lifting movements Conclusions: • There were statistically significant differences between experimental and control groups in favour of the post-measurement of experimental group at 0.05 significant Recommendations: * Differentiated training program design should consider muscle balance principle of all body parts.
