Abstract: |
A field experiment was carried out on a clay soil during a season of 2003/2004 for identifying the inoculation with Rhizobium leguminosarum with or without Mo and Zn as foliar application on pea (Pisum sativum, cv. Little Marvel) yield, its components and nutrient contents. Pea yield, its components and the contents of N, P, K, Zn and Mo in pea seed and straw were significantly increased as a result of seed inoculation over the non-inoculated control. The inoculation effects on the above mentioned plant parameters were more pronounced in the presence of Mo and Zn as foliar application. |
