| Abstract | Abstract The title of this study is: Connection Links in the Narrative Discourse (Taha Hussein as a Model); the dissertation aims to show the linking and connecting in The Tree of Misery by Taha Hussein. Linking relations has been explained in this study as a contextual relation between two meanings without a vocabulary medium. Connecting relations are contextual between two meanings with a vocabulary medium: a tool, a pronoun or a referential pronoun. The study contains the following: Introduction: Showing the study plan and Methodology Preface: Explaining the concept of linking and connecting according to ancients and modernists. Chapter one: linking for abstract relations; in four parts: Part I: connecting with attribution relation Part II: connecting with infinite relation Part III: connecting with descriptive relation Part IV: connecting with state relation Chapter Two: Verbal Linking; in three parts: Part I: connecting with prominent pronoun in the predicate, adjective and case statements. Part II: Connecting with prepositions Part II: Connecting with conditional pairing. Conclusion: Summarize the results the study tried to prove. |
