Abstract:

New strain of Tomato Mosaic Tobamovirus was obtained from naturally infected pepper (Capsicum annuum L.) plants collected from different locations in Qalubia governorates. The isolated virus was identified according to symptomatology, host rang, physical properties, mechanical, insect and seed transmission, electron microscopy and serological reaction. Finally, the tested isolated virus was identified as pepper strain of tomato mosaic virus (ToMV-P).
