A Proposed Model for Assessing the Educational Efficiency of Physical Education Teachers in the Second Cycle of Basic Education in Assiut Governorate

Summary :
The research aims to design a proposed model to assess the educational efficiency of physical education teachers in the second cycle of basic education in Assiut Governorate. The researchers used the descriptive approach based on survey studies, due to its relevance to the nature of the research. The research sample was chosen in a deliberate, random manner from the experts in the field of curricula and teaching physical education, and their number (15) experts, physical education directors in Assiut Governorate, and their number (20) directors, and physical education teachers for the second stage Of the basic education affiliated to the Directorate of Education in Assiut Governorate, they numbered (230) teachers, and the data were statistically processed using the appropriate statistical methods.
It was concluded that the proposed model had a positive impact on evaluating the educational efficiency of physical education teachers in the second cycle of basic education in Assiut Governorate. In light of the objectives of the research and the results reached, the researchers recommend that the Ministry of Education should pay attention to generalize the proposed model to assess the educational efficiency of physical education teachers in the Arab Republic of Egypt, as well as conducting similar research and studies on physical education teachers for different stages and in other governorates.
