In this paper we study the asymptotic behavior of general sequences of upper record values, as well as lower record values, which is connected asymptotically with some regularly varying functions, are studied. Moreover, the limit distribution functions of upper record values, as well as lower record values, with random indices, are obtained under general conditions. |
