Abstract: |
Ternary copolymerization reactions of p-acryloyloxy-tri-n-butyltin benzoate (ABTB) with N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone (NVP) and alkyl acrylates [ethyl (EA) and butyl acrylate (BA)] or vinyl acetate (VA) were carried out in solution at 65 in the presence of a free radical initiator. Experimental terpolymerization data agreed well with calculations based on the Alfrey- Goldfinger equation. The unitary, binary and ternary azeotropes of various systems studied was easily determined by a computer program. The results obtained showed that there is ... |
