Abstract:

Obesity considers one of the major health problem, obesity treatment and prevention represent a big challenge. World Health Organization (WHO) 2006 statistics revealed that 1.6 billion of adults are overweight and about 400 millions of adults are obese , and these records will increase by year 2015 to be 2.3 billion overweight and 700 millions obese. The prevalence of obesity problem becomes very wide to include all world countries either developed and developing countries. Obesity occurs when your body consumes more calories than it burns. In the past, many people thought that obesity was simply caused by overeating and under-exercising, resulting from a lack of will power and self-control. Although these are significant contributing factors, doctors recognize that obesity is a complex medical problem that involves genetic, environmental, behavioral, and social factors. All these factors play a role in determining a person's weight.
