Abstract:

Effect of functional exercises on the strengthening of working muscles and flexibility of the spine and shoulder joint to reduce the incidence of swimmers *Mohamed saad Esmail Aim: The aim of the research is to identify the effect of functional exercises on strengthening the working muscles and flexibility of the spine and shoulder joints to reduce the incidence of swimmers Method : The research was applied to a sample of Mansoura Sports Club swimmers and applied physical, physiological selections. Results : 1- Program to develop muscle strength of the muscles working on the spine and shoulder joint has a positive effect on these muscles 2 - Program to develop the flexibility of the spine and shoulder joint and lengthening the muscles working on the spine and shoulder joint has a positive impact on improving the motor range of the joint 3 - Program to develop both the flexibility of the spine and shoulder joint and lengthening the muscles working on them and muscle strength of these muscles has a positive impact on improving the performance of the swimming pool crawl on the abdomen at the high levels. Conclusion: Use of the proposed program to increase and strengthen the flexibility of the muscles working on the spine and shoulder joint in the development of training programs for swimming teams Use the proposed program to develop and improve the level of performance of the crawl on the back.
