Abstract:

The research mainly aimed to identify the efficiency of transferring agricultural technology from the point of view of researchers and its relationship to some variables associated with it. This is achieved through the following sub-objectives: determining the level of efficiency of transferring agricultural innovations from the point of view of researchers in Qalyubia Governorate, and identifying the correlation between the efficiency of transferring agricultural innovations From the point of view of the researchers as a dependent variable and among the independent variables studied, and determining the contribution percentages of the independent variables that have a moral relationship to the overall degree of researchers’ efficiency in transmitting agricultural innovations in explaining their total variation, Data was collected during the period from September to the end of December 2023 using a questionnaire form. The comprehensive research included a community of researchers from faculty members at the Faculty of Agriculture, Benha University, researchers at the Agricultural Extension and Rural Development Research Institute and the Desert Research Center, which numbered 1,035 researchers, and a sample was taken. Of them, 280 researchers were selected in a systematic random manner, and a number of statistical methods were used to analyze the data, namely: frequencies, percentages, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s simple correlation coefficient, correlational analysis, and stepwise multiple regression. The most important results were as follows: - The degree of efficiency of transferring agricultural innovations, from the researchers’ point of view, had a direct and significant relationship at the 0.01 level of significance with seven independent variables, while it had an inverse and significant relationship at the 0.01 level of significance with one variable. - The degree of efficiency of transferring agricultural innovations, from the researchers’ point of view, was directly and significantly related at a significance level of 0.05 with one variable. - There are seven independent variables that have a significant relationship with the overall degree of researchers’ competence in transferring agricultural innovations, which together contribute 64.6% of the total variance explained.
