Abstract:

Field experiment was carried out to evaluate the interaction among biostimulant strains (Pseudomonas sp KY648982.1+ Klebsiella sp KY662036.1 + Pseudomonas sp KY662037.1), chemical fertilization (NPK) treatments and microelements as a foliar application during growing season of 2016-2017 on faba bean yield. Results emphasized that inoculation with endophytic bacteria combined with micronutrients significantly increased DHA, P-ase and N2-ase compared with uninoculated ones. Also, nitrogen fixation activities, growth characteristics, N, P and K available, uptake and protein of seeds and yield and its components were significantly increased in faba bean inoculated treatments with plant growth promoting endophytic bacteria (PGPE) as a biostimulant combined with half dose of nitrogen fertilizers. Also, foliar spraying of faba bean plants with micronutrients gave significant higher records of abovementioned parameters than non-sprayed plants.
