The research also aims at emphasizing the industrial designer’s role in sharing the specialists of other fields to design the work places in the industrial field, to make the machine in its design suitable for the user’s abilities, to save security and protection to the workers and to distribute and plan these elements to suit the users. The research is divided into 7 chapters as follows: Introduction to the research’ the industrial design and the work place, the human factors designing the work place the physical factors that affect the work place, factors of designing the work places in the industrial field, dangers of the work environment, results and application and concluded with recommendations. The application was made on an assembly station of automatic washing machines in a factory, because this assembly station contains a number of human bases which include same of the anthropometrical, biomechanical and physical factors which are not applied or are not applied suitably in designing these stations.
