This summary reviews the general features and results obtained in this research paper entitled " Ergonomic considerations in the design of web pages in industrial design field ", the research is about the importance of designing Internet sites and Web pages, as the design of many of them does not apply usability and accessibility considerations, organizing the presentation of information on these sites might be complicated, or does not provide easiness and simplicity in reaching information for browsers and researchers, or use terms or services that are incomprehensible, and may not take into consideration in their design the human and ergonomic aspects of healthy users or persons with different disabilities.
This research paper aims to highlight the necessity of activating of the industrial designers' role in the design of these Internet sites and Web pages based on ergonomics Considerations including both usability and accessibility considerations which are two essential components that must be available in the design of those Internet sites and Web pages, in order to build a usable and accessible site, where designing Internet sites and Web pages is considered as one the modern trends in the human / computer relationship in the field of ergonomics, which is one of the essential industrial design sciences, the researcher devised some ergonomic standards for designing websites, to be applied by industrial designers when they design websites and internet pages for individuals and companies,… etc., to achieve efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction for users and surfers of those sites by all individuals, whether healthy or with different disabilities, the research came in three issues as follows: studying the components of Internet sites, both usability and accessibility and their importance in the design of Internet sites in the field of industrial design, and then devising some ergonomics essential guiding standards for the industrial designer to apply in the design of websites and the Internet, in addition to the conclusions, recommendations and references
