Abstract:

This paper has many objectives, which are dealing with the modern and realistic sentential Arabic theory, study in depth a modern linguistic theory and many parsing algorithms applied to the syntactic analysis of the basic Arabic language. The implemented proposed formalism draws its resources from three sources: Generalized Phrase Structure Grammar (GPSG) proposed by Gasder and Pullum, the Arabic grammar proposed by the early Arab grammarians and a variety of parsing algorithms which are bottom up (left corner technique of implementation) and modified bottom up (using linking table). In each algorithm we measure the response time of their execution, comparing between them and give the recommended approach for Arabic natural language representation
