Abstract:

The current goal of the computational linguistics is to produce a comprehensive computational theory of language understanding that is well-defined and linguistically motivated. Constructing such a computational theory would be an important initial step in producing a cognitively correct theory, as the computational theory could serve a starting point for experimental testing and could lead to modified theories accounting for experimental evidence. The systems based on computational linguistics require the semantic representation for the natural language. This paper introduces a proposed semantic representation for an important part of the Arabic sentence namely "THE PRONOUNS". The suggested approach classifies the seven types of pronouns in four major categories namely: the semantic pronouns, the quantifiers, the determinative complement, and the rest will be regarded as encompassing the conditional even if
