This study was conducted to assess effect of different dietary energy and protein levels on some growth-related genes and intestinal morphology in Hubbard broiler. A total 234 one day old chicks. Chicks were divided to six groups: 39 chicks in each. Group I, received a basal diet containing standard energy and protein. Group II, received a diet containing standard protein and 10% low energy. Group III, received a diet containing Standard protein and 20% low energy. Group IV, received a diet containing standard energy and 10% low protein. Group V, received a diet containing standard energy and 20% low protein. and Group VI, received a diet containing 20% low energy and 10% low protein. Gene expression of IGF1, Myostatin and ghrelin. histological and morphometrical of intestine study was also performed. The obtained results revealed that all groups showed downregulation of IGF1 except 10%LP group show nonsignificant change compared to control group. however, 20%LE-10%LP group and 20%LE group show the lowest gene expression of IGF1.While myostatin gene expression, the highest values were observed in 20%LE-10%LP group and 20%LE group. whereas 10%LP group showed nonsignificant difference (p |
