Abstract:

The present study was designed to evaluate the effect of orlistat and chitosan on weight loss and lipid parameters including total cholesterol, triglyceride, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) and to evaluate the effect of the studied drugs in presence of other risk factors as high fat diet on the structure of intestinal mucosa of rats and cell proliferation evaluated by the PCNA expression.
