Abstract:

The heat and mass transfer between a falling liquid film of Calcuim chloride dissicant solution and air in a rectangular film tube arrangement was studied numerically. The study were carried out for three different configurations: parallel , counter and cross flow of air with respect to the falling liquid film of the dessicant. correlations were developed to predict the heat and mass transfer coefficients.
