Abstract:

Relationship between bilharziasis and hypogondism was determined via estimation of serum testosterone level in male patients with different stages of bilharziasis.By radioimmunoassay, the testosterone level was found to be lower in patients with complicated bilharziasis than in non- complicated group. Also, the serum testosterone level in complicated bilharzial group was found to be significantly lower than that of rhose without gynaecomastia
