General (OCA) and specific (SCA) combing abilities and their interaction with scar were investigated in one set of F’s among eight inbreeds lines Significant OCA was dcicctcd in the combined analysis for most of the trails except for the date of mid-silking. Significant OCA by year interaction was detected for mid-lassclling date. On the contraiy, significant SCA by year interaction was detected for car diameter and grain yield/plant. |
