Covid-19 is an emerging disease which spread rabidly and causes serious problems with pregnancy as pregnant women is considered a high-risk group that needs special care. AIM: Evaluate the effect of an educational intervention utilizing Health Belief Model on Pregnant Women's compliance with preventive measures regarding COVID-19. DESIGN: A quasiexperimental design was utilized. SETTING: The study was conducted in Outpatient clinics of obstetrics and gynecology at Benha university hospital. SAMPLING: Simple random sample included 100 pregnant women. TOOLS: Three tools were used for data collection included a structured interviewing questionnaire, Health Belief model and compliance of pregnant women with preventive measures regarding COVID-19. RESULTS: there was a highly statistically significant difference in the mean scores of the total knowledge and total Compliance with preventive measures pre and post program application and pre-program and after 3 months and a highly statistically significant improvement was found pre and post program application in all items of health belief model (P |
