Dept. of Hor. Fac. of Agric. Moshtohor, Zagazig Univ. ABSTRACT A two-year-trial was conducted during 1990 and 2992 in Washington Navel orange orchard, where six weed control treatnents were investi¬gated as follows : a) without cultivation "ecrtrol", b) clean cultivation> c) Glyphosate, d) Atropine, e) Krovcr.JJ and f) clean cultiva~ tion + Atrazine. All herbicides treatments (Purzicularly, Gluphosate J showed high efficie¬ncy in weed control and improved both tree growth and leaf nitrogen, potassium, magnesium , iron and sine contents.
