| Abstract: |
In this paper a closed-form analytical solution for the current and torque of separately-excited d.c. motor controlled by thyristor converters is derived. Results obtained form the analytical solution were compared with results obtained from a numerical solution for a 1.1 kW motor, and good agreement between the two sets of results is obtained. |
