The objective of this study was to demonstrate the prevalence and antibiotic resistance characteristics of Salmonella species, E. coli and listeria species isolated conventionally from ninety cold smoked fish (Herring, Clupea), from retails and popular markets (souk) in Menofiya province, Egypt.
