This paper presents an optimal performance of islanded microgrid (MG) based on Artificial Rabbits optimization (ARO) algorithm for the best control of MG. The controller of the proposed MG system consists of primary and secondary controllers to operate the best performance. At the primary level, droop control is utilized to improve power sharing within constrained load voltage and frequency limits. While the primary control causes frequency and voltage amplitude deviations, the secondary control corrects them. The values of these controllers’ parameters need to be carefully adjusted. In order to get the best parameters values under diverse operational conditions, the suggested ARO-based tuning method is employed using common error criteria as a single-objective tuning strategy. The outcomes of this method are compared with the results of a different previously published research. MATLAB/Simulink has been employed to validate the suggested system. |
