Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din confirmed during the seminar the importance of the following pivots in the field of nanotechnology:
- Promotion of the abilities of faculty members and researchers in the field of nanotechnology
- Establishment of new programs in the related faculties to qualify new generation in that field
- Creation of network for the human and experimental resources in that field to maximize the utilization from such resources
- Creation of research centers interested in that field
He also confirmed the importance of science and scientists.
He added that the university pays attention with the scientific research and allocates 2 million pounds to develop the abilities and skills of faculty members.
On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Mustafa El Sayed pointed out the use of Nano in some fields. It can be used in medicine to treat from cancer by gold particles, in industry to increase strength of iron, in agriculture and food for food packaging and preserving from harmful bacteria for long periods, in the agricultural fertilizer industry, and in computers to increase memory and speed as well as in solar energy.
Prof. Dr. Nazar Mohamed confirmed the importance of linking the academies of scientific research with industry through a program to develop the abilities of faculty members in the field of nanotechnology through a center for nanotechnology in each Egyptian university.
He added that the UNESCO qualifies cadres for such nanotechnology centers. He also announced that each university must nominate cadres for training with the beginning of the New Year.
