On Wednesday, the Third Annual Conference for Postgraduate Studies in Humanities Sciences at Benha University

under the patronage of Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Gehan Abdel Hady, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research. The conference, organized by the Postgraduate Studies and Research Sector at Benha University, will take place from October 23 to 24, 2024, with participation from several Postgraduate students both from within and outside the university, as well as a number of specialized speakers in the field of humanities.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized that humanities Sciences are among the important disciplines, playing a fundamental role in the world of knowledge, especially all sciences derive from them in an attempt to achieve sustainable development across various human dimensions that address diverse social and humanitarian issues.
He added that the conference aims to build the capacities of young researchers and Postgraduate students to achieve the university's vision, mission, strategic objectives, and Egypt's Vision 2030, while addressing various issues related to humanities and social sciences.
Prof. Gehan Abdel Hady stated that the conference will discuss several themes, including commercial and economic sciences, legal sciences, educational, psychological, and social sciences, literary and linguistic studies, the role of technology in developing humanities and information sciences, as well as themes on special needs and sports education, and applications of artificial intelligence in humanities. She also mentioned that the keynote speakers at the conference will include Prof. Reda Higazy, President of Al Ryada University for Science and Technology and former Minister of Education, who will give a lecture on "The Future of Postgraduate Studies in Humanities," Prof. Adel Al-Hadithi, Secretary-General of the Arab Engineers Union, who will speak on "Humanities Sciences, Social Engineering, and Technological Development," and Mr. Islam Afifi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Akhbar Al-Youm Foundation, who will present on "Artificial Intelligence: Positive Aspects and Legitimate Concerns."
Prof. Abdel Hady highlighted that the university invites all outstanding researchers and Postgraduate students to participate in this distinguished conference, which will provide an important platform for exchanging experiences and research ideas in various fields of humanities.
