Benha University Conducts Medical Convoy for Eye Diseases in Al-Khosos

Benha University organized a specialized medical Convoy for eye diseases at Al-Azhar Institute in Al-Khosos, as part of Mr. President' s initiative for human development, "New Beginning Initiative for Human Development."
This event was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. El-Sayed Foda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, with coordination and organization by Mrs. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The Convoy was supervised by Prof. Mohamed Al-Ashhab, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Benha University Hospitals, Prof. Nermeen Adly, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Amr El-Dakhakhny, Executive Director of Benha University Hospitals, in collaboration with Sheikh Said Khidr, Head of Al-Azhar Region in Kalyobiya.
The Convoy resulted in a total of 187 cases being examined, 18 pairs of prescription glasses being made, and 15 students being referred for treatment at the university hospital.
