Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research inspected Electronic Test Center and the Central Library at Benha University on Saturday, 2662021. He was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the acting president of Benha University, Dr. Hisham Farouk, Assistant Minister for Digital Transformation, Dr. Anwar Ismail, Assistant Minister for National Projects, Benha University Leaders and deans. During the inspection visit, the Minister commended the center's capabilities which include 13 computer labs, 650 computers, control room, servers, UpS Unit , Monitor Cameras , high speed internet .All labs aim to develop, update the examination program and it copes in line with the number of students.
The Minister mentioned during his visit that the political leadership ordered to apply electronic tests Centers in all universities and Institutes, and the state allocated 7.5 billion pounds to develop the information infrastructure in public universities. The Minister also visited the central library, which is built on an area of 1200 meters and accommodates 300 students at the same time and is equipped with internet and related to the Digital library where the library's visitor can use it to enter the Egyptian Knowledge Bank. On the other hand, Dr.Nasser El Gizawy said that Electronic test Center has set up MCKL system of Electronic Tests that was recommended by the Supreme Council of Universities and he mentioned that Electronic center has done the first experimental test for several faculties as following; Veterinary Medicine , Computer and Artificial Intelligence and Physical Therapy .
