Emerging Technologies Hackathon to Empower People of Determination in cooperation with (NAID)

Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha university president announced that The National Academy of Information Technology for persons with disabilities (NAID) is going to participate in Emerging Technologies Hackathon to Empower People of Determination that is going to be held in February 2024.
The Hackathon comes from the belief in the role of higher education and scientific research in supporting digital transformation. As well as the constant pursuit of achieving the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030 by transitioning towards a digital, knowledge-based economy, and encouraging innovation, research, and development.
By promoting and motivating young programmers and those with ideas and visions to present their smart ideas and programming projects. For his part, El Gizawy indicated that the winners of the Hackathon will receive financial prizes totaling 90 thousand Egyptian pounds provided by Benha University in 6 tracks; the first place gets a prize worth 7000 pounds, the Second place gets 5,000 pounds and the third place gets 3,000 pounds, in addition to other valuable prizes provided by the sponsoring companies. The winners will also have a great opportunity to market their innovations.
He also added that the Emerging Technologies Hackathon to Empower People of Determination aims to find innovative solutions in various fields: health, education, employment, sports, and entertainment.
For his part, El Gizawy invited all students at Egyptian Universities and institutes to participate with their ideas in the Hackathon.
In this regard, a preparatory meeting was held at the NAID, in the presence of Professor Dr. Tamer Samir, Vice President of Benha University for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Shadi Al-Mashad, Deputy Executive Director for Information and General Coordinator of the Hackathon. For his part, Dr. Shadi Al-Mashad, Deputy Executive Director of Information, explained that registration has been opened starting on Saturday, October 16, 2023 and information sessions will be announced at the following link of Benha Hackathon website ;
