Benha University President inspects Activities of Emerging Technologies Hackathon to Empower People of Determination

Prof.Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University President inspected Activities of Emerging Technologies Hackathon to Empower People of Determination that organized by the University and National Academy of Information Technology under the title of “Our Country needs all Efforts”.
The Hackathon comes from the belief in the role of Higher Education Ministry in supporting digital transformation. As well as the constant pursuit of achieving the goals of Egypt's Vision 2030 by transitioning towards a digital economy based on Knowledge, and encouraging innovation, research, and development. The Hackathon aims to promote and motivate young programmers and those with ideas and visions to present their smart ideas and software projects. Benha University president was accompanied by Prof.Dr. Tamer Samir, Benha University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs , Dr. Shady El-Mashad, Executive Director of Information at the University and General Coordinator of the Hackathon and number of Faculty members staff.During the tour, Benha University President listened to opinions and ideas of the students who participated in the Hackathon, stressing that the goal of that Hackathon is to empower people of determination to find innovative solutions in various fields, including health, education, employment, and sports. El Gizawy also stressed that Benha University is always keen to provide students with the opportunity to market their projects and innovations, expressing his happiness that Benha University hosted the Hackathon for the third time.
