Benha University jumps 12 Places in Webometrics for Reference Citations July 2024 Edition

Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University President, announced that Benha University has achieved globally progress in the Spanish Webometrics ranking for reference citations, July 2024 edition where It ranked 1087 globally, among 6028 research institutions and universities that were included in this edition with an advance of 12 places over the previous edition.
It also ranked ninth among Egyptian universities and research institutions, which numbered 51 governmental and private universities.
El Gizawy also added that The University achieved an increase in the number of reference scientific citations from the university's intellectual production, reaching 282,420 citations in this edition compared to the previous edition, which amounted to 246,127 citations, an increase of 36,293 within six months. El Gizawy pointed out that progress came as a result for the concerted efforts of all the University's employees, including faculty members, their assistants, young researchers and administrators at various levels to achieve distinguished position for Benha University at the global, African and Arab levels.
