Benha University 's president witnesses the conclusion of the "University Innovations Marathon"

"El-Gizawy": Dedicated to fostering innovation and talent
The president of Benha University, Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, attended the closing ceremony of the "Benha University Innovations Marathon 2024" organized by the university.
During his speech, Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized that Benha University is keen on supporting and encouraging innovators and talents and utilizing their pioneering and innovative ideas to contribute to enhancing comprehensive development in line with Egypt 's vision for sustainable development by 2030.
The university president added that organizing the "Benha University Innovations Marathon" is part of the efforts and interest of the Egyptian state, which attaches great importance to innovations and prioritizes them for their significant global importance, in line with the implementation of the National Strategy for Science, Technology, and Innovation 2030, which focuses on enhancing knowledge management, technology transfer, and supporting scientific research. He noted that the winners of the marathon will receive financial prizes totaling 240,000 Egyptian pounds.
He mentioned that the number of marathon participants reached 423 contestants, with 144 participating teams representing 73 different educational institutions. He explained that the competitions and preliminary qualifications resulted in the qualification and success of 32 teams, which are the teams qualified for the final stage of the marathon.
At the end of the celebration, the President of Benha University and his deputies distributed prizes and honored the winning teams in the marathon competitions.
