"In its tenth edition" The President of Benha University attends the university's celebration of the Day of Scientific Excellence.

Nasser El-Gizawy, the president of Benha University, attended the university's celebration of the Day of Scientific Excellence in its tenth edition with Dr. El Sayed Fouda, the university's vice president for community service and environmental development, Dr. Jehan Abdel Hadi, the university's vice president for post-graduate studies and research, a number of deans and vice deans of faculties.
As Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy stressed, Benha University is committed to annually celebrate distinguished individuals on the Day of Scientific Excellence as one of the mechanisms for motivation and creating a suitable environment for the university's members to excel, innovate, and create, as part of the Presidential Excellence Initiative for Human Development, which marks a new beginning for human development throughout the country.
El-Gizawy added that scientific research plays a vital role in enhancing the knowledge economy, which primarily relies on innovation to discover and develop new technologies, improve production processes, and innovate new products and services, thereby contributing to increased productivity and achieving sustainable economic growth.
The university president pointed out that scientific research enhances countries' capacity to compete in global markets, enabling them to offer advanced solutions to contemporary challenges and create new job opportunities that require high skills, thus enhancing the level of education and training in society. The Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research highlighted that scientific research is one of the most important pillars of our academic mission, and international publication is not only a criterion for the quality of scientific research but also a means to enhance our university's reputation globally, showcasing our role in providing knowledge and solutions to various challenges facing our great nation.
The Vice President of the University affirmed that Benha University will remain the main supporter of all innovators by providing the ideal research environment and resources to help them continue their excellence, noting that there are no limits to science and that excellence is not just a goal but a continuous journey.
It is worth mentioning that the winners of the Encouragement State Award, the winners of the University's Encouragement Awards, the University's Best Doctoral Thesis Award, the University's Best Master's Thesis Award, as well as the distinguished individuals in international scientific publications (two or more research papers) in Q1 category journals during the January and July sessions, and the distinguished individuals in international scientific publications in the university's faculties (Q1 - Q2 - Q3 - Q4), and those who have obtained doctoral and master's degrees among the university staff, were honoured, in addition to honouring the outstanding students who topped the faculties of the university for the academic year 2023/2024.
