Benha University Successfully Eradicates Illiteracy for 854 Citizens in July Course

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, announced that the university has successfully eradicated illiteracy for 854 citizens, according to the results of the July 2024 course announced by the General Authority for Adult Education.
El-Gizawy confirmed that the university pays great attention to the issue of illiteracy and is implementing the project through its human resources, including faculty members and students, to eliminate illiteracy among the citizens of Kalyobiya Governorate, under the supervision of specialists from the university participating in the project. This effort aligns with the university' s role in serving the local community and following the state' s plan to declare "Egypt Free of Illiteracy," in line with the sustainable development goals of "Egypt Vision 2030."
In this context, Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, pointed out that the university is keen to participate in the national campaign to eradicate illiteracy, which the state advocates, and in which the university' s various faculties are involved.
