Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Engineer Rizk Abdel-Sami, Chairman of the Board of Dar Al-Maaref Foundation and October Magazine, inaugurated the Dar Al-Maaref Book Fair organized by the university at the College Campus in Benha. This event is part of the collaborative efforts between the two parties.
The inauguration was attended by Prof. El Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Jihan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for Post - Graduate Studies and Research, Ms. Sherine Shawky, Secretary General of the University, Mr. Refaat Nan, Assistant Secretary of the University for Administrative Affairs, Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary for Community Service and Environmental Development, and journalist Ibrahim Gouda, Supervisor of the University'
s Media Office.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized Benha University'
s commitment to organizing such cultural fairs to enrich community awareness and promote culture among college members, staff, and students. He noted that Dar Al-Maaref houses a vast collection of rare books in various fields.
El-Gizawy expressed his gratitude to Dar Al-Maaref Foundation for organizing the fair and promoting the culture of knowledge. For his part, Engineer Rizk Abdel-Sami stated that the fair features the latest publications, works, encyclopedias, children'
s books, as well as treasures from Dar Al-Maaref, including the "Iqra" series, "Treasures of the Arabs," the "Green Library," "The Five Adventurers," religious books, and various literary works.
Prof. Jihan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for Post-Graduate Studies and Research, mentioned that the fair includes over 2,000 copies in various disciplines and arts, noting that the fair is open daily to students and all university affiliates.
