During his speech, Engineer Ayman Attia emphasized that the victory of October 6th is a great triumph in which the brave soldiers of Egypt challenged the impossible to demonstrate to the world the will of the Egyptian people and their ability to achieve miracles.
They succeeded in crossing and reclaiming Egypt's precious land from its usurpers, restoring Egypt's dignity and honor, and etching Egypt's name in history.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy affirmed that the October 6th War recorded a glorious history for the Egyptian armed forces with all its weapons, marked by the blood and courage of its men, and inscribed in the pages of history days of pride and honor for all Egyptians. He highlighted the determination and capability of Egyptians to achieve victory and work.
El-Gizawy stated that the Egyptian army is not merely a military force but the shield and sword of the nation, thanks to its advanced training and high combat spirit.
It is a symbol of pride and national strength. Throughout the ages, the Egyptian army has proven its ability to protect the homeland and defend its sovereignty with bravery and courage, from liberation battles to maintaining security, stability, and development.
The Egyptian army remains at the forefront of defenders of the nation.
The university president continued, saying that the sacrifices made by our brave soldiers are a source of inspiration for all of us, as they embody the highest meanings of loyalty and belonging to Egypt. Thanks to their determination and insistence, the Egyptian army will always be a stronghold against anyone who attempts to undermine Egypt's security and stability. We are proud of our great army and trust in its ability to face challenges and achieve victory under the wise and sincere leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
Major General Prof. Samir Farag pointed out that there is a directive from Mr. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to focus on youth and raise awareness among them, as they bear a significant burden in preserving the gains of the October War and advancing them while facing the tidal wave of challenges confronting the nation.
He noted that there is a new type of warfare that does not use cannons and tanks but aims to undermine the state through its own people using fourth and fifth-generation warfare, which relies on spreading rumors and eroding citizens' trust in their leadership and state.
The seminar also witnessed the presentation of shields and the honoring of several heroes of the glorious October War.
