During His Tour at the Faculty of Agriculture in Moshtohor: "El-Gizawy": We Are Keen on Enhancing the Efficiency of Production Units to Meet Local Community Needs

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, conducted an extensive inspection tour of several production units at the Faculty of Agriculture in Moshtohor, accompanied by Prof. Mahmoud El-Zablawi, Dean of the Faculty, and several faculty members.
The university president began his tour by inspecting the development works at the animal production farm and the expansion of genetic improvement systems for breeds through artificial insemination, aimed at increasing productivity and meeting the local community's needs for meat and milk.
El-Gizawy emphasized Benha University's commitment to developing production farms and adopting the model of a productive university, as part of its community service role and its contribution to providing food security for citizens by offering high-quality food products at reasonable prices. He also highlighted the importance of linking scientific research with the actual needs of the community and solving problems in industry and agriculture.
The university president also reviewed the ongoing development works in the Plant Protection Department, observing the execution rates and stressing the importance of adhering to the timeline and ensuring high-quality execution and final finishes according to approved specifications.
On the sidelines of the tour, El-Gizawy chaired a meeting of the Faculty of Agriculture Council, attended by the dean and council members, where he reviewed the university's achievements in academic, research, and community service during the previous year. He affirmed the university's commitment to providing the best medical services to its members and implementing various judicial rulings as per their provisions.
El-Gizawy added that the university aims to improve its capacity to accommodate students by establishing several new facilities in Kafr Saad. Additionally, work is underway to complete the Central Laboratories Building, which consists of a ground floor and five additional floors to serve the university's students.
