Cooperation Protocol between Benha University and the National Telecommunications Institute for Training Students and Preparing Human Resources in Technological Fields

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Ahmed Khattab Fathy, Director of the National Telecommunications Institute, signed a cooperation protocol between the university and the institute as part of their joint collaboration in research fields, scientific supervision, and training students in technological areas.
This event was attended by Prof. El-Sayed Foda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Mohamed Mostafa El-Fahham, Professor at the Faculty of Engineering in Benha. The delegation from the National Telecommunications Institute included Counselor Makram Abdel Shafy, Advisor to the Institute, Prof. Iman Serag El-Din Bakr from the Networks Department, Prof. Rasha Samir from the Computer and Systems Department, and Prof. Sara Ahmed, Acting Head of the Strategic Administration.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized Benha University's commitment to enhancing cooperation with civil society institutions, research centers, and specialized entities, which leads to greater integration and collaboration in various fields, especially in utilizing technological capabilities to reach the highest standards of quality, continuous communication, and the exchange of scientific expertise. He praised the fruitful and constructive cooperation between Benha University and the National Telecommunications Institute.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy indicated that the protocol represents a continuation of the productive cooperation between the university and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, aimed at creating and preparing human resources in various technological fields, which contributes to providing new job opportunities and empowering youth with future skills.
He explained that the protocol aims to collaborate in the field of practical field training for Benha University students and graduates, as well as for the civil community in Qalyubia Governorate. It also includes joint scientific research supervision and collaboration in organizing conferences, seminars, workshops in various fields, and other joint activities.
Prof. Ahmed Khattab stated that the cooperation protocol represents an important milestone in the journey of developing digital capabilities in the Delta of Egypt. This alliance combines the National Telecommunications Institute, with its experience spanning over 40 years as a center of excellence in scientific research, technical consulting, and building digital competencies, with Benha University, which has a rich history of over 100 years in improving and developing education and is keen to provide high-quality education to its students.
The Director of the National Telecommunications Institute added that the protocol includes providing a package of training programs specifically prepared by a group of specialists in various fields to meet the needs of university students and graduates, as well as the local community, to address the labor market requirements in the telecommunications and information technology sector.
Prof. Khattab confirmed that the signing of the protocol continues the collaboration between the two entities over the past period in several pioneering initiatives, such as the Egyptian Talent Academy and the Digital Youth of Egypt initiative - Freelancing.
