President of Benha University Honors Winning and Outstanding Students in Sports

Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, today honored the students who excelled in sports and achieved top positions in various internal and external sports championships.
The ceremony was attended by Prof. Osama Salah, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Prof. El-Sayed El-Malki, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Applied Arts, Prof. Khaled Eissa, General Coordinator of Student Activities at the university, and Mr. Ibrahim Abdullah, Director of Youth Care.
The honors included student Basma Mansour Mohamed El-Sayed, a third-year student at the Faculty of Applied Arts, for winning first place in the national kickboxing championship, where she will participate in the Arab Kickboxing Championship next month. She is also part of the university's Cross Fit team.
Additionally, the honors included student Farah Reda Abdel-Monem Abdel-Maqsoud, a fourth-year student in the Faculty of Physical Education, in recognition of her efforts and active participation in gymnastics.
She works as a gymnastics coach at Al-Ammar Academy and has collaborated with the Faculty of Physical Education to promote gymnastics within the community, contributing to the development of many young athletes of various ages in her village.
During the meeting, the university president emphasized the importance of sports activities in building a balanced personality for students, discovering and developing their talents, and channeling their energies into productive and beneficial pursuits.
He also highlighted the need to raise awareness and promote sports culture among students and the surrounding community, affirming that Benha University is keen to support all outstanding and talented students in various fields and student activities, aiming to graduate young leaders capable of achieving their goals.
