Benha University organized a specialized medical convoy for Ophthalmology and eye diseases at Al- Azhar Institute in Kafr Al-Hesa village, as part of Mr. President's initiative for human development, "A New Beginning for Human Development."
This event was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research; Prof. Nasser Al-Gizawy, President of Benha University; and Prof. El Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development. It was coordinated and organized by Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The convoy was supervised by Prof. Mohamed Al-Ashhab, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Benha University Hospitals; Prof. Nermin Adly, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development; and Prof. Amr Al-Dakhakhni, Executive Director of Benha University Hospitals, in collaboration with Sheikh Said Khidr, Head of Al-Azhar Region in Kalyobiya.
The convoy resulted in the examination of a total of 125 cases, the provision of 9 pairs of medical glasses, and the referral of several cases for treatment at the university hospital.
