He pointed out that the Egyptian state considers future circumstances in its plans for economic development and legislation, rather than just the current situation. Therefore, it is essential to educate our students about all areas of development that the Egyptian state is undertaking.
He clarified that within the university, we are building the character of students and fostering their loyalty and belonging to the Egyptian state.
El-Gizawy noted that we must keep pace with the challenges posed by the industrial revolution, which affects all fields, including armed conflicts. Thus, the law and its legislation must consider the tremendous developments over the past years and the challenges this revolution has imposed, which have changed the nature of the world in just a few decades.
Prof. El Sayed Fouda mentioned that the conference discussed several legal and legislative axes and will produce numerous recommendations to be submitted to the responsible authorities, which can establish a set of rules that contribute to mitigating the effects of armed conflicts for humanitarian reasons.
Prof. Gehan Abdel-Hadi added that researchers should highlight the challenges brought about by the Fourth Industrial Revolution within the framework of legislative policies to keep pace with the technological developments it has generated, as well as community awareness and the national and international oversight role to prevent its dangers.
Prof. Reda Abdel-Halim pointed out that the conference discussed several key axes, including the economic axis, public law, civil law, international law, commercial law, Islamic law, philosophy of law, and its history. He confirmed that the conference chose the topic of the legal and economic aspects of armed conflicts based on the impact of these conflicts on the economic and social aspects of countries, individual and public rights, and the resulting international responsibilities and risks towards the affected, prisoners, and the missing.
