A student delegation from Benha University participated in the "Egyptian Foreign Policy" program organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration at the Ministry'
s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital. The event was attended by Prof. Badr Abdel-Aty, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Immigration, along with his assistants, and included the participation of 50 students from 20 Egyptian public universities.
The university'
s delegation included student Omnia Barhouma and student Omar El-Shabrawy from the Faculty of Physical Therapy.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, emphasized the university'
s commitment to participating in activities that enhance awareness among students across various fields. He noted that the university'
s participation in this event is part of the public diplomacy activities organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Immigration to engage with Egyptian youth about the priorities and challenges of Egyptian foreign policy.
The event included several sessions with various assistant ministers and their deputies, discussing developments in Egypt'
s relations with Arab, African, and European countries, as well as meetings with the economic and human rights sectors.
Students had the opportunity to hold discussions with ministry sectors to learn about the nature of Egyptian diplomacy, and a special session was arranged for students to review the requirements and criteria for joining the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
