Benha University continued to organize various convoys in the villages of the governorate as part of the President's initiative for human development, "A New Beginning for Human Development."
This initiative was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. El Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, with coordination and organization by Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, under the supervision of Prof. Amani Abbas, and Prof. Ashraf Awad, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development, organized a veterinary convoy in the village of Khanka in collaboration with Prof. Lamiaa Attia, Director of the Veterinary Directorate in Qalyubia.
The convoy included veterinarians from the educational veterinary hospital at the faculty, along with several faculty members and their assistants from the departments of "Surgery, Anesthesia, and Radiology - Animal Medicine - Obstetrics, Reproduction, and Artificial Insemination - Poultry and Rabbit Diseases."
The convoy provided free examinations and treatments for a total of 42 cases of cattle and buffalo, 6 cases of sheep and goats, 16 cases of horses, 2 cases of camels, 7 surgical cases, 30 ultrasound examinations, 5 lab tests, and 935 cases of poultry.
