Benha University Participates in the Seventh International Conference of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education

A delegation from Benha University participated in the activities of the seventh international conference of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education, titled "Quality Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence."
The conference was inaugurated by Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, on behalf of Prof. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, and was chaired by Prof. Alaa Ashmawy, President of the Authority.
Benha University' s participation was under the auspices of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of the University, and Prof. Jihan Abdel-Hadi, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research.
The university' s delegation included Prof. Mohamed Ghanem, Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Center, Prof. Fatma Abdel Wahab, Director of Strategic Planning, quality and planning experts from the university, and several students.
Prof. Mohamed Ghanem stated that they showcased the distinguished practices at Benha University in the field of quality assurance and accreditation, including a benchmarking study between local quality standards and African standards through participation in four centers across the country in the training program for the African initiative for coordinating quality assurance and accreditation in the African continent.
He noted the involvement of students in their workshops, which emphasized quality standards and the importance of quality and its impact on students, especially related to entrepreneurship and project management, linking these projects to labor market requirements.
Prof. Fatma Abdel Wahab pointed out that they reviewed the university' s practices in strategic planning, discussing performance indicators and electronic monitoring for implementing the university' s strategic plan and its faculties, as well as how to integrate evidence and documentation and the types of reports that can be generated from the "Performance" system for electronic monitoring.
the conference discussed many important topics related to the quality of Egyptian education at all levels, issues of education internationalization, the role of information and communication technology in improving education and ensuring its quality, and the employment of artificial intelligence in quality and accreditation systems.
