Benha University organized a specialized medical convoy for eye diseases in the village of Al Manshaet El Kobra in the Kafr Shukr, as part of the President's initiative for human development, "A New Beginning for Human Development."
This event was held under the patronage of Prof. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Nasser El Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, with coordination and organization by Ms. Rania Moataz, Assistant Secretary of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The convoy was supervised by Prof. Mohamed El Ashhab, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Benha University Hospitals, Prof. Nour El Din Adly, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Medicine for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. Amr El Dakhakhni, Executive Director of Benha University Hospitals.
The convoy resulted in the examination of a total of 111 cases, the provision of 5 pairs of prescription glasses, and the referral of several cases for treatment at the university hospital.
