New Issue of "University and Society" Magazine at Benha University

Benha University has released the October 2024 issue of "University and Society" magazine, published by the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector of the university.
The new issue features the university' s celebrations of the 51st anniversary of the victories of the October War, along with a detailed report on the university' s participation in the presidential initiative for human development, "A New Beginning for Human Development." This edition highlights the personality of the month, Prof. Gamal El-Saeed, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Benha National University, and former president of Benha University.
The new issue also covers the activities of the third annual conference for graduate students in the humanities, the launch of the fourth phase of the presidential initiative "Craftsmen of Egypt," the activities of the introductory seminar on the goals of the green projects initiative, and the celebration of the tenth Scientific Excellence Day, in addition to many other events and activities within the university' s sectors.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, affirmed that "University and Society" magazine aims to shed light on all news and activities of the university, its colleges, and affiliated centers, helping university members stay informed about the latest scientific and academic developments. Additionally, it provides training opportunities for students and highlights their scientific, artistic, and literary talents.
Prof. El-Sayed Fouda, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, stated that the issuance of "University and Society" magazine is part of the university' s ongoing efforts to support all its sectors by covering and documenting the various conferences, events, and activities organized by the university, as well as enhancing communication with the local community.
Journalist Ibrahim Gouda, supervisor of the university' s media office and editor-in-chief, added that the magazine is published quarterly and is available on the university' s website for easier and more flexible electronic browsing, while continuing to issue printed copies regularly.
He emphasized that the magazine is keen on diversifying its topics to cover all activities of the university' s sectors and colleges.
