Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, inaugurated a workshop on the "Ibn Al-Haytham" application for managing education and student affairs. The event was attended by Prof. Ahmed Taha, Executive Director of Administrative Information Systems at the university, along with staff from the Education and Student Affairs sector of the faculties.
Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy emphasized Benha University's commitment to fully supporting the faculties in utilizing and activating the Ibn Al-Haytham system for education and student affairs. He highlighted the importance of staff adherence to the accurate and effective implementation of the system, which contributes to the university's goal of becoming a smart university.
El-Gizawy pointed out the significance of digital transformation and leveraging modern technologies to achieve a qualitative leap in performance and enhance the services provided by the university to its members with ease and convenience.
He added that the workshop addressed the challenges and obstacles faced by staff working on the new system and discussed ways to tackle these issues.
The session also focused on monitoring performance and recording all student-related data within the system, which facilitates the extraction of all documents related to students throughout their studies until graduation.
